Second Baptist is first and foremost a teaching church—under the anointed teaching of Senior Pastor Alphonso Jackson, Sr. Second Baptist invites you to share with us each Sunday for worship and each Tuesday for Bible Study. Second Baptist is an community church which focuses on teaching, ministry to youth and children, community outreach and worship. It is a thriving and vibrant community of faith in the Richmond Heights area of Miami, FL.
About Salvation
We're living in a world where we find heartache, strife, sickness, poverty, injustice, and death everyday. All of this is a result of sin. But there is a cure named Jesus Christ. Today, if you want to receive that cure, it’s not too late and it’s not too hard. It’s as simple as A.B.C.:
- Acknowledge that you are a sinner
- Believe in your heart that God has raised Christ up from the dead
- Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
